Three churches serve the needs of parishioners in upcountry Maui in Hawaii.

Our Lady Queen of Angels, Holy Ghost Mission in Waiakoa, and St. James the Less in Ulupalakua. We invite you to browse our site to learn more about our parish and its activities. Visitors are always welcome at our masses, and we encourage local residents who do not have a church or have been estranged from the church for any reason to join us in the celebration of mass at one of the times shown under "Mass Schedules". Holy Ghost Mission, which is on both the State and Federal Registries of Historical Buildings.

To reach the church from Central Maui travel on Hana Highway to Haleakala Highway (HW 37), turn right on Haleakala Highway and continue past the Pukalani turnoff. At the King Kekaulike HS intersection, continue straight on HWY 37. You will pass Kula Elementary and a fire station and continue for about 7 more miles until just past Keokea Park on the left and St John's Episcopal Church on the right you will see OLQA on the left.

Our parish hall and Religious Education classrooms are also here at 4300 Lower Kula Road in Waiakoa, as well as a Gift Shop that is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and after masses Sat .and Sun

To reach Holy Ghost from the Central Area, follow Hana Highway to Haleakala Highway (HWY 37). At the King Kekaulike HS intersection continue straight on HWY 37 for about four miles. You will pass Ace Hardware on the left and about two miles further you will see an historical marker for Holy Ghost, after which you turn left on Lower Kula Road. We are on the right just past the Kula Community Center.
